As of 12:53 am this morning, the newest Warhawk Patch, version 1.5 was released. (At least that was when I noticed it) So I just had to try it out, wanting to see what trophies could be acquired, what trophies I would start with. (Since they did announce some of the trophies would be acquired upon installing since some of them you wouldn’t be able to re-acquire)

Other than trophies, the game now supports in-game music. Finally you can go on a murdering rampage while listening to your favorite boy band super-mega-death-metal that is so rough the cat devourers his own fur.

Of course with all patches, there are new paint schemes for your Warhawk and new insignias. Which reminds me, I need to see if any that my friend and I submitted where ever selected.

There is also a new tab on the main menu which allows you to go into a training mode. I didn’t bothering checking in out, having been playing the game since I was in the beta and having to figure everything out the old fashion way. Trial and error. (Remembers back the first few times. When I too made the rookie mistake of not knowing, Triangle takes you out of hover mode) Ahh… memories.

So you might be wondering why there is a picture of a hot dog stand on top. Very easy explanation to this. Upon reading about the new Booster Pack that is due out tomorrow, the new vehicle is a jet pack. Apparently the way you get a jet-pack, is you walk up to this dispenser and press Square. Then dispenser then begins to make a jet-pack just for you.  So in conversation, someone asked the dev, “It’s much like a hot dog vendor?” And once you too see the dispenser, you too will come to the same conclusion.

The booster will also bring about a new map, this time in a more forest-esk setting. So come back tomorrow and hear my thoughts on the new map. Safe flying!

Can not wait to play this. We need to load some jazz on your PS3. Nothing like gunning people down like cattle while listening to the smooth sounds of Miles or Coltrane.
